- Letter of Credit (LC) - Sight and Usance
A written undertaking from a world class bank to pay a beneficiary (e.g. supplier) only against agreed set of stipulated documents, provided all terms and conditions of the LC are met.
Sight LC Payment - This is payment made against set of documents that are in full compliance with the LC Terms & Conditions.
Usance LC Payment - This is payment made on a future date to beneficiary after acceptance of the LC documents. - Loan Against Trust Receipts (LATR) & Import Loans
This is a short term Import Loan, mainly offered in conjunction with Import LCs. - Bill / Invoice financing for imports and local purchases
Payment against presentation of Invoices through Trust Receipts. - Bank Guarantees / Bonds
This is a guarantee / bond issued in favour of a specified Company/ Institution/ Organistion e.g. Payment, Performance, Advance Payment, Regulatory, Shipping Bonds / Guarantees.
Export Lines / Domestic Sales
- Document against Payment
Used in Sight & Usance Bills and allows for release of commercial documents only against buyers payment. - Document against Acceptance
Usually used in Usance Bills and allows for release of commercial documents against the buyers acceptance. - Pre-shipment export financing
This is extended as Working Capital Demand Loan (Short Term Loan) for exports - mainly against LCs. - Bill/Invoice financing for export/local sales
Payment against presentation of agreed invoices (bill invoice discounting). - Bank Guarantees / Bonds
This is a guarantee / bond issued in favour of a specified Company/ Institution/ Organistion e.g. Payment, Performance, Advance Payment, Regulatory, Shipping Bonds / Guarantees.
Working Capital Facilities
- Overdraft (Revolving Credits & Short Term Advances)
- Local Cheque Purchase & Discounting
Local cheque advance against post - dated Cheques of agreed clients with tenor up to 180 days.
