Free1 remittances in Filipino Peso from your account with Standard Chartered Bank UAE to any bank in the Philippines!
- How does it work?
All Standard Chartered Bank customers who remit funds to Philippines in Filipino Peso from their Standard Chartered Bank UAE accounts between 1st July 2010 and 31st December 2010 (both dates inclusive) are eligible for a waiver of their Standard Chartered Bank UAE remittance charges1!
Remittance charges will initially be deducted from the remitting account. Subsequent reversal of the remittance charges for any remittance to the Philippines in Filipino Peso will be credited to the same remitting account as per the following schedule:
- Charges for remittances made between July 1st 2010 and July 31st 2010 will be reversed by August 10th 2010
- Charges for remittances made between August 1st 2010 and August 31st 2010 will be reversed by September 10th 2010.
- Charges for remittances made between September 1st 2010 and September 30th 2010 will be reversed by October 10th 2010.
- Charges for remittances made between October 1st 2010 and October 31st 2010 will be reversed by November 10th 2010.
- Charges for remittances made between November 1st 2010 and November 30th 2010 will be reversed by December 10th 2010.
- Charges for remittances made between December 1st 2010 and December 31st 2010 will be reversed by January 10th 2011.

Log into Online Banking today to set up your beneficiaries, transfer Filipino Peso to the Philippines during the campaign period and we will reverse your remittance charges to your account!
You can also visit any of our branches across the UAE and submit a remittance application form for a transfer to the Philippines. Remember to mention the remitting currency as Filipino Peso in order to receive the reversal of the remittance charges to your account!
